CBSC staff and students came together for a 2 minute silence at 11am on 10^th November 2023 to mark the signing of the Armistice that ended the First World War in 1918. This commemoration takes place annually at CBSC, and once again, our young people were respectful and a real credit to themselves and the school. This very moving act of Remembrance by our whole school community finished a week of Remembrance assemblies that saw students reflect on the First World War, and explore the case studies of three soldiers who fought – Walter Tull, Hardit Singh Malik and Manta Singh. The level of respect shown towards Remembrance activities has been exemplary by all members of the Carshalton Boys community all week, and we are incredibly proud of all of them.
